Here are some common things restaurant owners and vendors ask us.

General

Yes, but memberships are non-refundable, even if you cancel mid-cycle. You’ll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.

A market, as defined by ORS, is the metro area/geographical region/service area where ORS connects vendors with restaurants/businesses. If you want to offer services in multiple markets/regions, each market requires its own membership.
Not at this time. We offer transparent, pay-as-you-go pricing so you only pay for what you use.

A service type is what services your business provides customers, such as Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Hood Repair, Lock Smith, Refrigeration, Cold Side Repair, etc. All of those are considered individual services. So, if your company wants to provide Electrical and Plumbing (2 services) to 3 markets each (i.e. Dallas, Austin and Houston), and you select Tier 201-300 work orders, your monthly membership rate is $1,794 ($299*6); paid quarterly: $5,382; paid annually: $21,528.

[Please note: A 3-month membership commitment is required upon initial ORS membership paid upfront. The membership is set to auto-renew, but you can disable quarterly auto-renew and switch to monthly if desired, or switch to annually.]

Restaurants

No. Each restaurant location needs its own membership tied to its physical address.
You can switch to monthly billing if you’d like, and discounts kick in if you pay quarterly or annually (5% or 10%).

Vendors

ORS will automatically charge your card $100 to upgrade you to the next tier. You’ll also have the option to choose a different tier for your next billing cycle.
Absolutely. You can select multiple specialties. Pricing is adjusted based on how many services you offer and how many markets you serve.

10 minutes. If it’s not assigned within 10 minutes, the request is sent back into the pool for other service providers.

Vendor Membership Examples

Vendor A offers one service type (i.e. Electrical) in one market (Dallas). They selected Tier 1-100 monthly work orders, and paid the quarterly rate of $297. For new vendor accounts, the membership cycle start date will be the date of the first accepted service order. For example, if Vendor A’s profile was approved by ORS and charged $297 on April 26, but the first work order they accepted was May 3, the membership cycle would run from May 3 – August 2. The next membership/payment cycle would run August 3 – September 2 (monthly) or if quarterly, August 3 – November 2.

Vendor A accepted their first work order on May 3. If on May 28, the vendor accepts order #101 (next tier), ORS automatically charges $100 to their credit card on file since they hit the next tier (difference between $99 and $199 monthly equivalents). June 3 starts month two of the membership; July 3 starts the final month of the three-month membership.

Prior to August 3, the vendor will have the following options:

  1. Change/update their membership (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  2. Change/update their Tier level

Vendor B offers one service type (i.e. Electrical) in one market (Dallas). They selected Tier 201-300 monthly work orders, and paid the quarterly rate of $897. Vendor B accepted their first work order on July 12 (membership cycle runs from July 12 – October 11).

In their fourth month as an ORS member, they changed to monthly (vs. quarterly) billing, keeping the same tier level ($299). That membership runs from October 12 – November 11. If on October 27 the vendor accepts work order 301 (next tier), ORS automatically charges $100 to their credit card on file since they hit the next tier (301-400). If on November 10 (or 11) the vendor accepts work order 401, ORS automatically charges $100 to their credit card on file since they hit the next tier.

Prior to November 12 (the next membership cycle), the vendor will have the following options:

  1. Change/update their membership (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  2. Change/update their Tier level

IMPORTANT: If auto renew is turned OFF, or if the credit card becomes deactivated and successful payment isn’t submitted to ORS, all access to the vendor’s ORS account will be disabled/inaccessible. Vendor information will not appear as an option to restaurants/businesses.

Upon successful payment and membership reinstatement, the vendor’s account will be reactivated. The membership cycle start date will be the date of successful membership payment – not from the date of the accepted service request. For example, if Vendor B forgets to pay for their November 12 membership, and reactivates membership December 5, the membership cycle runs from December 5, 2026 – January 5, 2027. If they do not accept their first order until January 1, 2027, their membership cycle does not update; it stays December 5 – January 5. No exceptions.

Vendor C provides 3 service types (i.e. Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing), with each service type offered in 2 markets (i.e. Dallas, Austin). Vendor selects Tier 201-300 work orders based on current work loads. That tier pricing is $299 monthly (based on 1 service, 1 market)

Pricing math: 3 service types x 2 markets = 6 x $299 (Tier 201-300 work orders) = $1,794 per month.

Please note: Initial ORS membership requires a 3-month membership commitment paid upon signup. Vendor C would thus pay $1,794 × 3 months = $5,382 due at signup. For new vendor accounts, the membership cycle start date will be the date of the first accepted service order
